Learn to Ride For Free
is a program hosted by the 
American Saddlebred Horse
& Breeders Association. 

Participating stables will
welcome riders to their facilities.
Professional horse trainers 
will provide horses, tack, and helmets.

This program is for both adults and children.
Everyone is welcome to 'Learn to Ride.' 
Riders only need to wear
close-toed shoes and long pants,
everything else will be provided for you. 
​
You will meet and interact with horses,
learn basic horsemanship and safety,
learn basic horse grooming and care, 
experience being in the saddle, 
and take a beginner riding lesson. 
​
If you have fun and want to continue riding,
we will connect you with stables
who are excited to help you
on your equestrian journey.
